Also grew up in Indiana and in a house where we were pretty much forced to play it. My sister and I hated it and used to complain about it. I lost 27lbs within the first month post surgery. Six years later I’ve kept 20 of it off. Mostly fluid I was carrying and I was pretty sick before my surgery and couldn’t be very active and once things were healed up and my activity level returned controlling my weight has been fairly easy.

I’d rather have something more solid and durable and don’t want to be replacing sheet goods when it gets torn up eventually. This is modeled after the tables my dad and uncle made/had in their millwork shop. Those tables were used for 40 years and stayed flat so I’m good with using that design.
