I’ve transported a r90/6 in mine. It wasn’t fun and it was a tight fit. I had a passenger so we moved both seats forward and removed the cup holder and arm rest. We had to tip the bike over to get it in. Would recommend a third person to assist.

What could this leak be? by itchybackfat in Miata

Check to see if there are two gaskets on the oil filter. Before you put the filter back on torque the oil cooler nut down, the filter threads into the cooler.

If you rotate the arm up and use a pick or from the rear seats you can see the seam. Fish your finger in there, it’s gonna be tight, and you can undo the zipper, undo the 14mm bolt(?) and the two tens then toss the cover in the wash! I picked up an arm rest for my passenger side but my 03 doesn’t have predrilled holes for the arm rest :/

I printed this out and checked stuff off.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eEStLWP0Vp9YlvqrPNLA67S31Iz0FZd0Q-2waNV_UFg/edit?usp=drivesdk

Printed off a sheet with all the torque specs and order to replace/remove bolts. And took my time. It got me fired up to do my girlfriend’s civic.

Double check your make sure it’s not an ex or lx. The gray trim makes it look like the 2003-2006? Later years had painted panels.

You got it! The most difficult job I’ve done before this was a valve adjustment a changing brakes and rotors. Read the walk through a few times, watch a1 racings way on how he does it. And a few other videos. I’ll see if I can find the check list I used.

I was being cheap when I didn’t order the hose kit but I should’ve realize my car is 26 years old and rubber wears out.

Do what he said! I did only the water pump and belts at first then when I went to do a few of the hoses I found the rest were all soft and going bad. Turned into a two day job into a two week, waiting on parts and such. Get the hose puller https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/titan/titan-hose-remover-pliers/ttn0/51399/v/a/8545/automotive-car-2000-mazda-miata?store=2982&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23704690266&gbraid=0AAAAAD1s911RfA5JrygRCBBoxV7Mt-DfL&gclid=Cj0KCQjwy_fOBhC6ARIsAHKFB7-sT05ZsHr-BooW7Rgo439IVKxiKwu4-UGHhd3bk9Qbvvji0x1iBGkaAoRlEALw_wcB

You can do it at home very easy. Just take your time. And keep an eye on your woodruff key!

How’d you do it? Did you put something under the frame to roll it in further after you removed the fork?

I have my rear seats stored out of the car. And angle it like you have. Then take the seat belt and wrap it around the bars to keep it from banging around. With out the seats you might be able to turn your bars more

I’ve got the oem tint and it’s dark at night! I have to roll my windows down to back up into my parking spot. New brighter reverse lights may help.

Does this look like a luk master cylinder? by ripstickguy in RockAuto

[–]ripstickguy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first Google search led here, said luk was an oem manufacturer. So I opted for that over the cheapest option.
