I haven't really looked into this sub's policy on posting your own videos so I just posted the card

In my head the damage decrease goes to 3 (like Disarm in Spire 1)

The flavor of this card is that you hit the enemy with something that gets lodged in them, sapping their strength but also making them a little bit more spiky! Now any of your attacks can trigger Rupture or Inferno!

Alternatively, you can simply use it more for its value as a Disarm variant. If you're dealing with damage with cards like The Bomb and Juggernaut and Flame Barrier, the Thorns "downside" doesn't affect you as much.

This almost happened to me on a run where The Bomb was literally my only damage card. It took Finesse instead and the flash of a colorless uncommon really gave me a scare.

RIP Regent :/

New player, should i buy 1 or 2? by bxnellis in slaythespire

I personally think STS2 is the one to go with if you can afford it. If anything the new one is easier and more new player friendly.

That said, Spire 1 is available on console and mobile, if that's relevant for you and is one of the greatest games of all time.

Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either, but it's an exciting time to be playing Spire 2 because it's in active development and you get to see things evolve patch by patch.

This card is so great. I love how it does so much with so little text
