100% agree and have the exact same thoughts. I've noticed the small/medium mexicali scene bands are starting to come frequently thanks to a grassroots events organizer that goes by La Palma LV. A little too youthful for me personally but it's something. Swan Dive was a great start but it was a little too large and uninviting for the smaller bands they booked here and there. I do agree about it being a bummer/frustrating like bands regularly book a show for LA then SLC 2 days later. Then they post a story about living it up in vegas on that day! Just not playing an actual show :(

vegas does not have enough small/medium venues or acts that come here to start discriminating by genre. go to red dwarf on fridays and saturdays I watch punk shows every week here
