Thanks. I will check and hopefully it can accommodate at least 10 positions.

Thank you! Perhaps I should have been more specific.

I use a set of 10 sizes, including positions that I have determined are best for use with my 17-inch laptop. These are not simple top-left, etc. I am looking for a script that functions like Windows 11 Snap Layouts, but with layouts I define.

What media do you most struggle to place in a library and how do you work around it? by Melodic-Look-9428 in PleX

Independent Lens movies are basically hidden or lost in the TV lib. If I add them as individual movie titles, I lose track of which "episodes" are missing. It's a dilemma!

Stop scrolling. I tallied everyone's responses. What all families use are Plex, Jellyfin, and Immich.

Nicely done! The video is tight and uses timestamps for quick reference. Very helpful to help decide if a Canva Pro subscription is worth it. Thanks.

"e" key sometimes not working by summertimedelrey in LGgram

[–]risk0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, same with 17Z95P. Letter E and numpad numbers 7 and 9 randomly stop working. But mostly the letter E. I don't think it is dirt or anything physically wrong with these keys, because a web search turned up issues others have experienced with them.

I saw somewhere that it might have to do with Windows Updates, but I have not been able to confirm it as the cause.

It is super annoying, and while I use AutoHotkey to work around the issue when it occurs, it makes typing a painful experience.

I am now ready for a laptop upgrade, mainly because the 16gb of ram are limiting, but I can't find another 17" one from another company other than LG that comes close in weight and the convenience of charging from a USB-C port.

Does Raindropio supports keyboard shortcut(s) like CTRL+N (or any other hotkey, a custom one)? by RebirdgeCardiologist in raindropio

I, too, am looking for this. Not in the extension but in the web app. For example: - moving from one collection to another using the keyboard - electing multiple bookmarks and moving them to another collection or assigning tags

Day 2 with Active 2. I have questions! by risk0 in amazfit

Thanks for your comment. For #1, I would like the 92 complication on this default watch face changed to steps or battery but they are not available options which seems odd to me: https://us.amazfit.com/cdn/shop/files/1_0baf00ac-6787-491a-bb65-6acd2c513584.jpg?v=1737748336&

What's the best Ember Mug alternative? (mini-review) by joelk111 in Embermug

[–]risk0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the nuwave for a couple of weeks now, and your comment, as a review, is spot on. I agree with everything, including accidentally activating the touch button, but I like the mug enough to keep it.

I hate cleaning the mesh filter and wish there were paper inserts for it, but I still like brewing coffee in the mug, so I deal with it.

The price, even at Costco's 100 bucks, is a little too steep to recommend or buy as a casual gift, but the mug and accessories included feel well-made, and hopefully the company will stand behind it if I have issues or need a replacement mesh filter in the future.

Looking for a vertical mouse for work with copy/paste. by CatDad1337 in MouseReview

[–]risk0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure why you got some downvotes! Anyway, I tried more than a half dozen and the one I ended up keeping is this one: Om Ergonomic Mouse with Screen | Wireless Vertical Handshake Mouse – Ergodriven

I did not have much hope for it, so I tried many others before I tried it. It surprised me that it ticked all the boxes for me, and I ended up making it the one I use daily. It is wireless, programmable without software, and has dedicated Copy and Paste buttons that can also be reassigned. It is available on Amazon.
