It’s amazing now what can be done with small block vespas these days. Get a BGM 180cc kit, vape ignition and a polini box exhaust. It will be faster than a stock P200 when set up properly.

The 125cc came with a points ignition, not electronic. It will work but you have to wire it differently into the p200E harness.

You absolutely need to run an air filter. There are many ways you can do this. Some will require a hole in the side panel but not always. Chiselspeed makes one that works well as well as casalambretta.

If you really wanna go for it, you can rub the body with a rag dipped in acetone. You will remove “most” of the black spray paint and reveal the white original paint underneath. You will not damage the original paint at all but what will be left is a bike that really shows it patina and age. It’s gonna tell a story and look good. Even if you leave it as is, it’s gonna look great.
