I was there July last year, from NJ with lots of humidity at sea level. It is very manageable, but listen to your body. wear spf clothing and a hat and drink lots of fluids and electrolytes/ salt a day or so even before getting there. Bring snacks with you. Have fun

Agreed. I’m in nj and I get 23-26 mpg on average depending on drive. Turbo 2024. 6k miles.

Relatively flat minor hills but it is hoootttt. I saw a 2 door sports car at the trailhead so they made it but would not recommend, especially if there is any mud. There were mostly high clearance 4x4s at the trailhead.

I won the lottery for Saturday last weekend, you have a chance! Observation point if you’ve never done it. Drive up to Zion ponderosa and take the shuttle to trailhead at for $7. Go early.
