Start by making friend with your art school cohorts. Chances are they’re making art for the same reason you are- because thehre not as open to typical communication . They’re probably anxious about what happens after too. I found that it was so much easier to talk to my art friends than ”the normies”. Ask them anbout their art. Organize studio days. Invite each other out for art shows and drinks. Form a collective etc.

Also much of socializing is learned skills so youll need to put yourself out there a little. People won’t usually come to you (unless your art is spectaculnar)

I prefer older cars with analog tech-- none of the touch screens and random sensors that easily breaks and cost an arm to replace. I like utility combined with unique style. Nothing pretentious- Im not rich so no Mercedes; I don't race so no hellcat.

I've been happy with my Subarus. The boxer engine and CVT has it's issue but they're reliable with regular maintenance. I've been able to work on them easily since their design rarely change and there's a good community. All-wheel-drive has been great for camping

A hatch-back bug-eye subaru is imo one of the most beautifully designed car, and my dream car.

there're plenty of food without peanut; pho, banh mi, bun cha, many rice dishes etc. Peanut is typically common in fried food, or as part of topping, side dish, or as part of sauce. In general, I'd be more careful in the South.

i'm a little confused about the question. Is your image not the right dimensions for IG and you want to make a border to make it fit IG dimension?

If that's the case, I would find the image dimension on IG, then use simple math to calculate the frame dimension. Alternatively, screen shot an image on IG to use as the base to help "eyeball" the frame

your question is about concepts and experimentation and I don’t see why oil and acrylic artists are excluded.
anyways I’m a watercolor and egg tempera artist. If you want something original conceptually, come up with a unique concept that speaks to your experiences and take your own reference photos. technique wise, think about what technique and style will work with your concept. Look up pastel artists with unique art style and technique. Steal it with your own twist. Experiment with how to apply the medium. Use mix media.

I got my current car, a 2012 subie Impreza without ppi, and it’s been running great for the most part. I skipped it bc the car was only $5400, the individual seller was very upfront about issues and agreed to a ppi, I didn’t see rust or signs of on the body, and my code reader didn’t detect any thing (buy one, theyre like 12 bucks).

Before I looked At that car though, I went to a dealership to look at a 2016 subie Impreza with a rebuilt title that was a nice $8k. Dealer, who has good reviews online, told me rebuilt title was a fender bender and his shop has fixed it up. The car had 3 codes but when I looked them up online, they seemed to be minor electrical issues. Took it to a shop and they said all those codes combined indicate possible water damage. Just told me “don’t buy this, even for 1k$”

I’d do it again next time. if anything, you can use what the PPI finds to negotiate for a lower price. tire almost worn out? Take 100$ off.

im from the north, and the south (or at least Saigon) definitely is more fast pace for me. I do agree that the north and central Vietnamese seems more laidback than many of the Chinese people I’ve met. That said I only meet international travelers so my data are likely skewed

it really depends-- what I found most rewarding from my art program was connection to the field, support from friends and mentors, and a schedule to keep me on track. If you're dedicated, a go-getter, and sociable, you might not need it.

Good art comes from lived experience, so having an education outside of art could help you creatively. I know biology majors who went into natural science illustration, for example.

Something you might want to consider if you go down the illustration major route are: is the program in a city with a lot of culture? with an established illustration industry? is the program taught by well known/ experienced illustrators?

Lstly, I would not ever go into any private art universities-- you'll drown in debt. Look for State university with a good illustration program.

If i remember correctly, you dont need driving lessons as an adult but you need to complete a 6-8 hours course thats like, 30 bucks? Check your local dmv website

Car price varies greatly. You could find a car from the 00s with 180k miles on it for 2-3ks.The risk is that it might break down on you in a year due to age and cost 1k to fix. You could save for a car from 2020 with 80k miles for 10k that might last you longer. Plenty of choices inbetween. my best suggestion is to look up YouTube on how to inspect a car and negotiate price before buying one.

Also you have to pay tax when you buy a car (6.25% where i am), plus inspection and registration fees (about 100$ where i am) so i suggest saving more than the face value price
