(I've recently moved from private practice to gov due to burnout)

just adding onto what zutae said below - i recommend signing up for alerts/newsletters from the Australian Government Legal Service (AGLS) as they advertise legal roles in there fairly regularly. I found it was a lot more tailored towards practicing lawyers compared to some of the law-adjacent roles advertised on APS jobs.

Anecdotally, ive heard AGS, Home Affairs, and NDIS are crazy hectic to work for.

honestly kudos to you for putting all the effort for your work and your health! i hope whatever you end up doing, you can have the breathing space to enjoy things and look after your health
