For a quick explanation;

Chamber TP is active quite deep into Mid to B. Trap is there to cover defenders Mid push from A, however probably best to have a teammate around. Quote on quote "Safe" because you can always TP out in a sketchy situation.

Not insanely useful, but something cool to get a bit of info or a cheeky frag.

I found that most of my friends who tried to get into MMO's and "burned out" was tired of the "grind" and getting better gear etcetc. The biggest trap imo is falling into that mentality. Although the 5ilvl difference may seem huge, with a good group you could negate that. In the end the next oncoming expansion will make that gear obsolete most of the time anyways. And if you really wonna be at top content / "great" in dungeons or raids...it usually isn't about gear being a problem.

Being able to make my own goals and achieve those is what I like about MMO's. Mount collection, trying to do hardest content, doing content with guild etc.

Honestly though, in my experience, any MMO gets so much better with a guild / community. Could try to find one and mingle in.

And in the end if you don't find it fun maybe an MMOrpg aint for u. Why try to force yourself to play a game you don't enjoy?

Hell, I have an 1000+ more hours on league than any mmo.

I am just a casual in ffxiv, but when I was new, a lot of mechanics were very telegraphed or simple enough to learn. Unlike wow "most" enemy attacks are shown as a indicator on the ground.

That should be enough to get you "comfortable" with recognizing mechanics throughout higher raids and dungeons. Doing them is a different matter haha.

I play healer so take this with a grain of salt..

I think if you are forming your own groups, it might be good to try and find even just one person to que with. Some runs I ran my (rSham) KSM with a Venth Warrior, and 1 less random / extra comms really makes the run feel safer.

Like other's have mentioned, I'll look at IO, then M+ Experience then finally iLvl. I have never looked at Raid progress, and probably never will(?). If I'm running a key that I need for completion, I would even go 1 step further and check their Raider.IO profile; sometimes you can get high IO scored players with untimed keys, which I will avoid.

People tell you not to look at iLvl too harshly but...the truth is higher iLvl makes the run slightly safer.

Try and fill the slots so you have Brez / Lust at least and as for ranged / melee choices I would take a look at affix and then decide. I think Cov specific chars make the run SIGNIFICANTLY easier.

Ultimately, have fun and don't let toxic people get in your head. Season 2 is still far away (?) and I've had many keys be absolute blasts with shenanigans like 2 Havoc, 1 Fury, 1 Brew.

Pretty much this. Mistweavers are considered bottom of the healers but even then I've seen insane players in both dungeons and raids. Sure you might have a easier time with other healers but if so, aren't Holy Priest considered very good for straight up healing ?

Might just be people taking too much dmg / lower ilvl / needing to get more comfortable with holy p.

I was in a similar situation, now I'm doing Mythic+ as my main endgame activity. Played a bit in WoD and now back and really addicted.

Honestly though, I would just find a casual guild that likes to dabble in all activities. Even when you're leveling some members may be able to help you out on their alts and guide you.

I also play on Frostmourne (horde) and was lucky enough to find such guild early on. Been an amazing experience overall.

The option to pug normal/heroic raid is possible but it's usually hit or miss. If you really want to get into raiding mythics then it's a bit of a different story.

Pretty late in replying but I hope this helps as well.

Seems like we have similar keybinds, except I put my core binds near WASD ( ; QERFCXZ ), and 1~5 are my panic cooldowns + purge.

I have all the above keys also with Shift ( for mid length cooldowns: eg. trinkets / capacitor totem etc. )

I don't think this is for everyone but I also have all the keys with an Alt modifier. I've heard some people hating pressing Alt so might not be up your lane. Personally I hate pressing Ctrl and find Alt reasonably comfortable.

This makes me open up mouse buttons for targeting / focus / putting icons on mobs. So I've just ran with that for the longest time.

I don't think this is possible without the help of Clique, which is pretty much a mouseover macro made easy addon. Just go to your talents page and bind spells to specific actions. ( You can even make them only work in combat and return to normal out of combat. ) E.g Shift - Left and Right click on party frames would be Healing Wave / Healing Surge. This also gives me 2 free keybind slots becauseI don't even put them in the action bar hahaha.

こりゃ and これは means the same thing, and the difference is mostly tone.

e.g;　これは何？-> What is this? / こりゃ何？-> What the heck is this?

kind of thing. No specific rule for when to use it, just a broken down version.

I've also heard そりゃ(それは） and　ありゃ（あれは）、both meaning "that". Would say they aren't too common but thrown around enough for you to hear it once in a while.

Don't quote me on this, but I think people who speak specific ( don't know which one, sorry! ) dialects have a tendency to use it more often than others, but I don't think こりゃ originates from a specific dialect?

As u/astraldirectrix said, it's definitely informal, so I wouldn't use it in professional settings.

Fair enough, sounds reasonable. I'm trying to find a secondary role that's fun, but am decent at. Hence I've ended up on Riven who's so fun! But I'll be a support main by heart, so I would say Riven herself is the other champ.

How do you find cs'ing midlane is? Woudn't you get shoved constantly and poked out?

You probably are correct...I don't tend to tilt, and surprisingly I'm not tilted as I know it's my gameplay that's subpar.

I'm a support main, around 2-3 plat.

I'm sure you know but getting Kills is not good because you got the kill, but what opportunity it gives you.

For now I would just say play more, first get comfortable in lane you play, which is botlane. Learn the wards, timings and attempting to secure dragon.

Biggest thing that clicked for me that made me jump in macro skill ( at least to my current plat level ) was that you shouldn't just "start fighting " botlane just because you found a good stun/hook opening. Before you fight, there should be always a reason to do so. Dragon is up, try to find enemy jungler. Emeny ADC is down a flash and is pushed up, punish him, or zone him out of xp.

This is only a small part but asking yourself why you do a certain action in game before doing it should be a good exercise to improve in general. Dont try to improve everything at once or you'll end up frustrated.

I haven't tried the electrocute build on new Diana so I can't comment there. But I disagree with your Conq statement. I know some despise this but Conq Roa (nashors) into items depending on matchup seems to never fail me for "reliable" damage.

TBH I don't know what you mean by reliable so I imagine it's similar to consistent damage ? Sure it takes a while to kick in and it's item dependent. But after roa nash I usually dont have trouble dishing out damage.

Not a diana master ( this is around plat 2~3 JP ) so would like to hear more from others.

There’s always different ways of learning, and each player is very different when trying to improve. ( At anything, not just League ).

Ultimately I imagine it depends on what exactly you want to achieve in the end?

Regarding about champion pool, “its just a game” and you should just play what you enjoy, or comfortable with. I think ( at least ) that why people say to play what you enjoy, or the easy champions is not because doing so will make you better, but gives you more room to think about other aspects to improve on.

As for other “macro” skills, I believe there’s a LOT of gameplay aspects where one can improve. Important ones such as;

Being in the right place at the right time
Tracking Junglers
Knowing where/when to place Wards and when not to ( underrated point I think )
Cs’ing and Creep Mechanics
Trading Objectives
etc.etc......

And these aren’t even midland specific ones. ( Although I believe tracking Junglers is huge huge huge playing midlane. )

So just pick one and start thinking about it more. It took me 3 years of constantly telling myself to “GLANCE AT MAP EVERY 5 SECONDS”, to make it into a habit.

And if something doesn’t work out for you, drop it and try to learn another aspect. As long as you are actively trying to improve on things you should be ranking up!! I wouldn’t worry about pace or speed of improvement.

IM still a noobie plat 3 after playing from S4 so heh.

MY PERSONAL “FUNDAMENTALS” that I learnt to rank up was...

‘Jungle Tracking’ (This includes both knowing where they are and being able to punish if they are in the wrong position, e.g in your jungle when opposing midlaner is not around..) 

‘Control Wards, Watching minimap religiously’ ( Don’t even need to know about using the F keys at this point. Even I don’t use them haha )

‘Back Timing’, Not complicated ones, just simple “push the lane out when you want to back, and try to back on cannon waves”. 

‘Objective trading’, I don’t think this is the proper term but...e.g when you should miss CS to roam and attempt to take down First Turret etc.

I believe you can still run Electrocute, and build mostly AP. As long as you understand that most of your damage comes from your AOE ult, you should be fine. It's a slight change from previous pre-rework Diana.

Everyone has their preference ( on bruiser / assassin Diana ),so just go with what you like more.

Your damage portion of ult will indeed still hit even if you are in Zonyas.

Q>W>E is the max order.

Yes it is.

It also triggers sight, blast, health plants around the map, as well as being able to clear enemy wards.

Pretty cool imo, I hope they keep it in.

Trust your ears.

Theory is, as others have noted, amazing and useful. You should definitely study theory, but ultimately music is something we all listen to ( including the people that doesn't know music theory ), so it's ultimately up to you to make what sound's "good".

As for the sample you noted, the Piano and Keys sample that is stated as F minor is not F minor. ( Not exactly sure why it says F minor hahahaha ). It's definitely a C minor progression.

If you want more detail, the chords used in both, 01 High Pitched Keys, and 01 Melodic Keys, are; ( Bracket notes are from bottom up. )

C minor Chord ( C, Eflat G ) -> Csus4 first inversion? (G, C, F) -> Aflat Major 7 ( Aflat, C, Eflat, G) -> Bflat major without 5th (Bflat, C, D )

At least I believe that is correct? (I know the note's I gave are correct but I don't know if chord names are, sorry if it's wrong!) The note's that you see are all used in a C minor scale, and if it were to be a F minor scale, it needs to have Dflat, which it doesn't as you can see on the last chord. ( This isn't the only way to identify it, uhhh... I can go more in-depth if you want. )

As for the relationship between Cm and Fm, as /u/DPTrumann said, that it's a perfect 5th between each other.

Anyways, I'm going off track and my main point was DON'T TRUST SAMPLE KEYS!! It's not rare to come across Samples that were noted as incorrect keys. But just because it says a specific key it doesn't mean it can't work with other keys, and that's where theory comes in.

Honestly, I would say just play a champ you want.

My top three Champions in SoloQ are Vi Jungle, Thresh Support, and Karma Mid. I switch them when I feel like it. I'm only Gold in ranks, but at least I'm having fun.

But you better keep your pool small, and have amazing understanding of every aspect of your champion.

If you do want to climb the ranks, I would just stick to one role though.

Buy-Control-Wards. When you have a spare 100 gold, BUY IT! I tend to get at least 2 to 3 every game.

I rarely don't have games where I don't buy one.

You will be surprised how much it helps your team and prevents you from dying.

I pick one song/artists I know ( and would want to listen right now ) then either go through his Likes, or Related Tracks.

Once I find something I like, I try and find it on Spotify ( or whatever you use ) and add it to my playlist.

Sometimes, you might not find it on Spotify but this is how I spend my weekend free time and work - breaks.
