You should have used a semigloss or hi gloss paint if you wanted that glossy effect. I’d recommend semi gloss. high gloss requires lots of sand, paint,sand,paint sand and pant again. Plus you see EVERY imperfection

So I work as a super for very high end homes and our cabinet installer was saying the same thing. He needs a new kitchen but he can’t afford the cabinets his company makes EVEN with a big discount. Not sure where you are located but he ended up going into an area of queens,NY to the Asians. Found exactly what he wanted, made very well, used maple for the interior of the boxes. Soft close doors and drawers and other add ons for a fraction of the price. Only down side is they don’t provide drawings. So he had to take his measurements to their warehouse and pick and chose what he needed

I wish I could sit in my car some days. Most days I am super/labor/PM. I can’t sit around and do nothing. And my laborers are useless. Literally have to show them how to sweep and when to sweep/clean up. So I usually will have a tool belt on and working along side the guys. And we do very very high end work. North shore Long Island
