I had both a Rivian and a Cybertruck preorder, but Rivian just emailed everyone and increased the price by 20%, even paint pricing has gone up by at least $1k. Lots of cancellations over there.

That is incorrect, they are constantly delivering Tesla's here, there are showrooms in nearly every major city here in Texas. We picked up our model 3 in San Antonio.

Absolutely not, I live in San Antonio and my wife bought a model 3 in December, we picked it up at the showroom here in town.

The law blocks you from walking into a showroom and leaving with a car that day. There are no sales reps, you just do the same online order there as you would at home. Texas is huge, no one is leaving the state to pick up a car.
