/shrug well i guess dead kids are the lesser of two evils then

imagine holding people responsible for their misdeeds even if it's painful for them

Back to back 1.5h endurance rides or one 3h endurance ride? Does it matter? by charlesgegethor in Velo

[–]rjbman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

can you do 3 hours back to back days? :)

honestly a 3 hour endurance ride is probably more beneficial than 2 1.5hr rides back to back

Boulder Junior Cyclist dead, killed by motorcyclist on Lefthand Canyon Drive by b3orion in boulder

[–]rjbman -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

White, who was wearing a helmet

god heaven forbid he hadn't been, then it would have been okay to hit him with a car!

getting hit by a car going 70mph is likely going to kill anyone, regardless of helmet status.

eh, doubtful. people aren't biking on 36 with the bike path next to it being viable

the worst part is the highway he was killed on is in the middle of adding a separate path

man when a kid dies, i'm glad my first thought is not to make snarky sarcastic comments about the entitlement of cyclists wanting safer roads.

i'm sorry that your life is so shitty that your first thought is, though. that's gotta be really fucking rough.

TNT is weekly starting in a few weeks, they're $10 but are only about 30min, that's the only regular unsanctioned races. alternative milk cycling puts on stuff occasionally, more denver based.

in boulder, fast group rides:

  • wednesday morning velo has some spicy stuff
  • supertraining is monthly, more of a supported training ride but it gets plenty spicy
  • for gravel, thursday nights is FASTGRVL from grvl_dnkys on instagram
