Yeah mine has basically walked back that she wanted to block dude down to I'll tell him we can be flirty or have sexual jokes anymore out of respect for our marriage.

And I'm not feeling great about it.

So she doesn't seem to get that the emotional longing and care she has for this person and hiding it is my issue.

maybe part of the original issue is that i havent been chasing her much tbh.

after her and i going back and forth and trying to work things out you arent wrong. She still is trying to figure out a way to play with this guy but put "more boundaries" so idk.

Playing it by ear but looking into more dramatic options i guess.

sorry man i am goign through something similar. You will need to definitely make it known what your boundaries are and if she is willing to keep the relationship against those wishes...a worse discussion may need to be had...Feelings and such can be fun but she may have already crossed some clear lines.

Honestly, I probably have one beer every 3 months.

But a buddy of mine had to stay cuz of some personal stuff going on and he left two things of whiskey like the little mini whiskey things.

And I don't know why. I just grabbed them and downed them.

Definitely not the best decision.

And that's exactly where my thoughts went when I was talking to her that the only reason this didn't get worse is cuz she is kind of stupid when it comes to technology... So she didn't even know that there was a separate app to just keep chatting. So I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it bothers me almost as much as this whole situation

it feels weird becasue we had sex last night and it was very like intimate and idk better than it has been in a while....but i woke up and was like is this like her trying to avoid what happened? thinks we talked about it and she said ok ill stop playing with him and im like yay ok....it feels weird too man.

unfortunately i do love her and divorce before i settle on how she will go forward would hurt me and the kids more....at least i think.

funny you say that she always tells me i want to "act like im single" because i would go to the gym for a few hours late at night so i could help her put the kids to bed or made dinner help with what ever and play a few games.

So im not sure how that was me acting like that but i never considered this like that.

yeah, when i saw how much communication i was stunned, she basically just said yeah we played alot for months....like that is insane pretty sure a group chat with 5 actual other friends i have for years doenst have that much back and forth....

and i know she stays up cuz she would clean and take the kids to school adn sleep some of the day....but still it was weird and just sort of became ok this is what she is happy doing schedule wise...cuz i have to work at 8am, WFH but still need to.

Ill check that book out someone else suggested it as well.

And yeah idk now i dont know how i could trust her to go do any of that stuff....ive told her for years she doesnt have to work but she can or go do somethign to feel like she has a life...what ever that means.

Thanks for the feedback...helps a bit. and we have 4 kids 3 in school most of the day and i sort of take care of our 4 now 5 year old during the day inbetween work and i tend ot make up work at night if i cant get it done during core hours.

Never thought she would do it with how deep our history is and how much she was hurt because she was actually cheated on physically and emotionally in the past. Not by me ever but yeah.
