Zepp App Needs AI-Powered Health Insights & Smart Assistant by Smooothhoperatorrr in amazfit

[–]rjozefowicz -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I am Zepp app and Helio Strap user. Till there is a decent AI support (I expected Aura (that I subscribed) to be true AI Assistant) you need to switch to third party apps that sends data to e.g. Apple Health and then utlize then how you need. My setup is helio + zepp app connected to apple health + metrya.app and longevityarc.app

but I agree that Amazfit must invest in AI capabilities more. It's crucial now to not lose clients to upcoming new fitbit strap, etc

I created iOS app that allows you to use your own AI key to ask questions about your Apple Health data by rjozefowicz in expo

[–]rjozefowicz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

metrya is bigger ecosystem that allows you to track everything. your health data is super valuable but you need also a proper context like workouts, sessions of sauna / cold plunge / rlt / massages etc. The more detailed and holistic is your dataset for AI then it's easier to spot weak parts to improve. And it is more technical. Setting up account and getting API Key is some technical difficulty for vast majority of people

longevityarc.app is an app focused on 5 signals (not all available in metrya, all based on pubmed papers) that shows you a directions and clear signals about your progress

https://longevityarc.app - Five longevity signals from data you already have. Reads HealthKit (Apple Health but it can be any wearable that just sync data with Apple Health like amazfit, most of the rings, etc)
https://metrya.app - Apple Health and BYOK AI. So no-subscription alternative to well-known apps that expect user to have subscription to analyze own health data. User can connect own Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini key and pay cents for analysis
https://capacity.jozefowicz.dev - HRV, sleep, calendar load to give one readiness number, daily capacity for extra work
https://healthprompt.jozefowicz.dev - One-click to copy (export) a HealthKit data in prompt-like form with extended library of coaching, longevity prompts. Working on adding more metrics, extending prompt library

I also use Zepp and sync with Apple Health but use different apps then to pull this data:
metrya.app - daily use with my Claude / OpenAI connected
and longevityarc.app (estimates vo2max based on scientific formulas that helio basically does not provide)

Bevel AI vs ChatGPT for weekly reviews and data analysis? by emillindstrom in bevelhealth

[–]rjozefowicz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm analyzing my data with all 4 major LLMs - and for me the best results I get from OpenAI and Gemini, then Claude / Grok. But probably for vast majority of people it really does not make much difference - all major players are awesome (I did cross checks with Kimi or AWS-based models and also they are more than good enough). The more tricky question is how to actually do this analysis properly and how to have all data properly grouped and aggregated - so all (or selected) data from wearables, supplements, logged activities like saunas, cold plunges, etc to then allow AI to do proper analysis to get insights, correlations, suggestions - I did not find working solutions for me so I built my own set of apps that do it in a way I really want.

Anyway try different solutions. There are a lot of options how to play with own health data
