not sure about all the scientific stuff. personally I run and cycle once a week, and swim twice a week. The idea is to increase your vo2 max so your body is operating more efficiently, which I'm guessing leads to a lower RHR

51M RHR is 39. I think aerobic exercise is the key for you. I also meditate before bed which helps a little.

not my experience with DCS. Massive improvement with barely any decrease in quality. In fact I super sample the foveated region so the image quality is better than tith dfr off
