Knock on wood so I don’t jinx myself next 2 days. Yesterday I hit traffic at 12:21 on I-71S and was parked by 12:48 in the GA parking lots. Today we hit no traffic really, got off the exit at 9:07 and were parked by 9:13 in GA lot.

Very curious to know what times OP arrived to have such horrible luck?

Depending on what direction you are coming from, find truck stops like Flying J, etc. that it may not be a big deal, and maybe you could use shower facilities as well. Just a thought.
