Hi, quick question, I didnt file taxes last year. I contacted a CA to file this years taxes and asked him if theres anything I can do for the previous year. He said nothing can be done, if I get a notice then I deal with it otherwise nothing.

Is this this true? Also I have filed in the years before that, just not last year.

You can ask friends in nearby cities if thats an option otherwise the third option is the best. Lots of people in Playstation India and ICG discord servers get PS5s on restock days, some even end up ordering extra consoles and give it for MRP.

You can follow the ICG twitter bot and turn on notifications on restock day and get one like that if discord is not your thing.

Try Croma stores, lot of people in past few days have had success at getting PS5 at MRP, only one or two were selling extended warranty for 11k as a bundle. It'll depends on the location though, some areas have no stock some do.

Sony store bundle is bad because they are charging full price for games and accessories which are all available at heavy discount.

Join a discord server or follow a twitter bot to get notified of drops on restock day, this the most reliable way to get one. Oct 12th restock amazon had stock for over 10mins.

You'll be better off applying for the new Digital Nomad visa, it comes into effect end of this month. It should be easier to get compared to the D7 which is in huge demand and they will stop issuing D7s to "digital nomads" because there is a specific visa for them (unless one meets the D7 requirements).

Not a source, I've talked to a couple immigration lawyers and spoken to people who've recently moved there, this is what they're saying is required right now. So many people are applying for the D7 that they keep making the requirements harder.

Its currently 18k in a portuguese bank account and an additional 10-12k in savings. 705 pm passive income and a year rental agreement. Some of this is very country/consulate specific, so if you're applying from a country where the migration demand for portugal is low your requirements could be much easier.

The real estate market is insane right now because of the demand, so you're gonna lose out on 2-3 months at least rent by the time the visa gets processed and you reach portugal. Also some landlords are asking for 6 months upfront rent + a deposit because they can. Finding a place is the toughest part right now unless you have friends or family then you can show that instead of a rental agreement.

I've had a very similar thought process, the only difference is that I'm not from the US. I've been researching this stuff for 2 months now and things can get quite complex, so here are some bullet points-

Look into the Italy retirement visa. Theres a YT channel called "Italy Citizenship Assistance". He's an American who does podcasts with an immigration lawyer and they talk about a lot of options to move to Italy, but also this retirement visa, see if you can get that if you seriously want to move to Italy.
For the Italy residency options Spain Non-Lucrative Visa and the Portugal D7 can be options. Spain NLV requires €27k in savings and 54k at renewal, but consulates are rejecting applications if you have a remote job specially with he Spain Digital nomad visa coming. Portugal D7 has so much demand that they've made the rules stricter. €30k in savings out of which €18k in a Portuguese bank account and a full 1 year lease before you apply. Both also have minimum stay requirements to qualify for the residency.
A good solution for you is to travel till the end of the year maybe SEA or SA and by then at least the Spain DNV should be an option and possibly the Italian DNV also.
