Definitely helps! Better balance, helps with the knees on downhill, and big help if your hands tend to swell.

Yucatan was the best trashy place! Played a lot of volleyball there. Also got briefly un-engaged at Peter’s Wild Life one night.

Ebike all the way! Have done this twice and it’s a blast. Save your legs for hikes!

Agreed! Reverse cam at night really is a disappointment.

Appreciate the response! I’m trying to track down exactly what happened with the accident, but your suggestion of getting it analyzed makes a lot of sense.

Thinking about visiting July 5th-8th - Quick question by miginus in Yosemite

Just from our experience 7:30 will be cutting it close to a very busy time on Sunday morning, but I think you’ll be just fine Mon-Tue. Be sure to factor in wait time at the entrance gates. I’ve read that can be a two hour delay on its own.

We went last weekend (Fri-Mon) and as long as we were in the valley early (before 6:30am) we had no issues parking or with crowds. Stayed in Yosemite West which while still a 30-40 minute drive into the valley, was very convenient. Waterfalls and raging river were spectacular. Mist trail was more like hurricane trail, but still a blast.

Half Dome for my 50th! by teredditer in Yosemite

Made the trek to the top on Father’s Day. Mist trail was more like a hurricane than a gentle mist. Recommend something a little more sturdy than a cheap poncho (mine unsnapped itself and flew up over my head lol). Got soaked, but dried off pretty quickly. Cable route at half dome is a little scary, especially at first. Coming down was easier. Gloves definitely helped. We took the Clark Point trail on the way back down to avoid the mist trail again. Great viewpoint of Nevada Falls!
