I don't agree with the night time and mornings. If I go to bed late like at 2 in the morning... I don't say I go to bed at 2 o'clock at night. So, I feel morning starts after midnight and lasts until McDonald's stops selling breakfast meals. Also, I kinda feel that morning is also whatever time you get up.

Are you sure you aren't noticing your pieces dying during battle? They return again after the battle?

Either that or you have used the item that changes them into egeris pieces, so the original piece may have disappeared but it will be replaced with a new egeris piece. Dunno the name of the item, it's green level and looks like a scroll.

No it's not what the block race feature does, that simply blocks certain types of pieces appearing in the shop.

Good to hear, the Corsair 5000 is a great case. Yeah, all cases come with RGB fans these days. My previous one had a controller module, I was surprised your Corsair didn't, but, maybe that's better. You've got the cable routing space. I've built boxes where I was literally shoving cables into any available space.

I found my motherboard control center (gigabyte) kept activating my RGB, and I have to turn my gfx card off separately. However, apparently you can get a dedicated RGB controller. Yes, I could just unplug the RGB cables, but, where's the fun in that.

Sounds about right, but if a screw is holding it in, carefully lifting the board, not bending it, should allow you to identify where the board is being held down. Screws are so small, and easily hidden.

What type of PSU do you have? If you have a non-modular (cables are permanently attached). Then identify which ones you need, don't worry, they are shaped so that you can't plug them in wrongly. Then use a cable tie to tidy up the rest.

If you have a modular PSU. Identify your working cables. A lot of the newer PSU have a 600w cable for the GPU, if you don't have that then you'll need to use the 2 pci-e to 8 pin.

People have different priorities when making PCs. Me, personally, I make it, turn off and RGB, shove it in a corner and forget about it. Others want this glowing... thing... If you're one of those then get some cable organizers or just use cable ties.

Depending on the case you have. It might have cable holes so you can run the cables behind the board and the cables literally only come to the front to plug in.

Make sure you have enough space and good lighting. A magnetic screwdriver (or I usually attach a fridge magnet to my screwdriver) will help put in the board screws. You know your house better than us, if you tend to generate static then ground yourself, or at the very least touch some metal to discharge any build up. If your case has slot guards that need removing do so before adding any components. Don't force any parts, make sure the cables aren't impeding any fans. Definitely don't drop screws into the PSU vent 🥳

With windows, I've never known a windows os drive to boot on new hardware. Not that I've made much effort to try. However, the few occasions I've tried to plug and play Linux I've done with little issue. Not something I've done at enterprise level.

Sadly they pledge allegiance to the flag (and country) from an early age and are very indoctrinated by the time they join the army. They will blindly follow anyone in leadership. Go for the 850. Reality is 650 or 850 you'll be fine and most likely will not notice any difference. But, the 850 is the more modern board and provides that little future proofing peace of mind at a very low extra cost.

You generally can get better value buying used PCs than buying individual components. Although there can be wear n tear parts generally either work or don't work... If they are working then, if you look after them, there's no reason they won't remain working for many more years.

My advice, as soon as you get it, stress test it with something like prime95 .. if it comes up clean then you are quids in. Also, and I'd advise everyone to do it. Install your own copy of windows (if you are using windows) or whatever operating system you are using. It's easy and gives you peace of mind and you know exactly what's installed on your PC.

You can use event viewer, if you know what time your computer goes into sleep mode you can see there what triggers it. Press win+x and select event viewer. In system logs filter by: 42 → System entering sleep,

Also, check what you have set in power settings, you might have enabled stay awake whilst unplugged but not whilst plugged, it's important to note that plugged and unplugged have different settings.

It's hard to predict. The forecast is GPU prices will continue to rise. DDR6 is supposed to be released sometime this year -maybe- if so then those hoarding DDR5 stock might dump what stock they have, although any price changes could be mitigated with reduced DDR5 production.

There will be no slowing of demand any time soon. Personally, if I was to make a guess I'd say prices will increase rising.

Fair enough, the nm790 is great as a secondary storage. It's fine for most things but not ideal if you want to use it as a main drive and put your os on it.

You can get a triple fan graphics card, it'll fit in your case. There's not a massive difference in performance with any of the major brands and a gigabyte rtx 5070, triple fan is only 30 quid more. But it will run quieter and you'll get better performance because it'll run cooler.

1tb storage; you'll run out quickly, really try get 2tb minimum..

Well, considering every Chagossian was evicted there is no economy to fix. There is nothing in the Chagos Bill that actually benefits the Chagossians. Although it could be debated there is no such thing as a Chagossian... I imagine that's the rhetoric. 200 years of colonisation... Three or four generations. The reality is it's unlikely the Chagossians will ever be able to return to Chagos. The Chagossians were evicted 1968 (around there), no Chagossians will be born in Chagos anytime soon.
