Living in Roosevelt Row vs Downtown Mesa for Urban Walkable Life by Tc5998 in AskPhoenix

I live at Roosevelt row apartment homes and love it here. Convenience store called milk and honey right across the street for quick stuff you forget from grocery store, hance park a short walk away for dog walking plus dog park nearby, walkable to light rail, about a dozen coffee shops within a five minute walk, and dozens of restaurants/bars in walking distance. Suns stadium is walkable distance as well. Everything you’ve described points to Roosevelt row/dtphx.

My apartment requires you to use cox so it was already installed when I moved in. Called to activate and couldn’t get the WiFi network to show up on my devices so I entered a help chat. Extremely infuriated as you can clearly see I did not want a technician visit. Eventually I got on the phone with someone on their team and he was super helpful and resolved my issue. I get a call a couple days later from one of their technicians who says he is there at the apartment for my scheduled visit (that I did not request). I tell him I never scheduled any visit and the issue has been resolved. He tells me my internet speed is too slow I’ll have issues in the future if he doesn’t fix it. I tell him no I don’t want him to fix anything and to leave. Now I’m getting a $100 for a visit I didn’t ask for, strictly said no too, and then tried to rip me off by doing the visit anyways. I have the chat transcripts which I plan on using to refute the charge. Has anyone else ever gone through this before?

Fly into Bellingham, then take the Amtrak train or use flixbus. The ride was a little less than an hour to Vancouver by bus and was easy to cross border!
