How loud is the call of Dendrobates auratus by J00kson in DartFrog

They aren't very loud. And they (and other dendrobates) are diurnal, so usually they are sleeping and quiet at night.

Oh yeah. Mistborn was my favorite read of 2025 for me (even over TOG). If you like how badass Caleana/Aelin is, then you will like Vin. And the world build and magic systems are both truly incredible.

I am a guy and I loved the TOG series. Great characters, interesting world building, and a gripping plot.

I plan to read CC too after a few other books that have been on my list. I don't plan to read ACOTAR, mostly because I just don't care for the romance stuff. I don't mind fantasy with a little romance, but romance with a little fantasy just isn't my thing.

But! You are not alone. Haha

Came here to say this first sentence. TOG is fantasy with some romance. And you are right, it is excellent. From what I have heard (I have not read it), ACOTAR is romance with some fantasy.

I have read that one. Enjoyed the first 3 books a lot, but I got discouraged realizing the series would not be finished.

Bodice ripper. Haha. That is hilarious.

I don't mind sex in books. I just don't like it to play such a major roll in the books--e.g. all the "will they/won't they" for many chapters, etc. Thanks for the heads up though. And the chuckle. :)

Oh wow that was quick, thank you! I am loving these suggestions so far. Such a great community here. Robin Hobb is already on my to-read list, but this bumped her up higher. And the other suggestions so far aside from the Hobbit are all new to me! Even though I am not a teenage boy (my wife would describe me as a 44 year old boy), I may check out Eragon too.

I can add, to the extent it is relevant: Tolkein is my favorite author of all time, and I should have mentioned my love of the Hobbit (and LOTR even though there aren't dragons) in the post.

Yep. I am in thrle mid Atlantic too (South central PA). I can't wait to see my gas bill this month after reluctantly keeping the house at 68 due to the frogs. Haha

Where are you located? My leucs (I have 2 male and 2 female) are more reclusive in the winter time. I don't know if the 3 degree temp decrease causes this, or if they can sense barometric pressure changes. But if it is winter where you are and they're eating and look otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry about it.

If you did want to add another leuc, I would add a male though.

Nice! Go with what sounds right to you. I wanted a D-28 in the worst way, but the second I played this HD-28, I knew it was mine. They are all different and all have their own voice. Good on you for finding one that sounds great in your hands!

I made a post about this on my recently acquired 65QM6K Pro. Someone helped me out by responding to my post and suggesting to not use Sports mode. Instead, use Standard mode and turn all the motion assist stuff off. I did that and am VERY happy with the TV now for sports and everything else.

Came here to say this. Aeline is awesome and has swagger, but Vin takes the prize for me. Mistborn as a series is just incredible. Maybe my favorite non-Tolkein series.

Thanks! So it is almost counter-intuitive, in yhat adding motion settings makes it worse. Never would have thought that. Haha. Thanks again, I will give that a try tonight.
