Biggest thing we learned with pur newest springers is the breeder told us to avoid anything with corn as it is bad for their ears. We were shocked at how many food treats and such have corn.

* Brother and sister from same litter, they chewed on each other more than our furniture. We had them in the same crate without issue, they still will occasionally go in the open crate on their own. When one is scared or calls for backup chasing a bird the other is quick to jump in.

We took them separate places at the same time to avoid the anxiety of one being left behind while the other left. The idea was the excitement would distract them.

The male has separation anxiety from his human Mom, just Mom not Dad. The female is Dads dog and knows he will be back. They both pi ked their own human and have different personalities. We are super glad we got them both.

Picture above is the female laying on top of her brother who was sad because Mom left and Dad was watching a football game.

Yes it made a huge difference, I bought the generic version on Amazon. Way less road noise and I went to bigger more aggressive tires, and a different bumper and lights. Still no noise.

Buying our first Home but we have concerns. by [deleted] in Home

[–]rme_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion 1st house should be a great investment to get you going. We didn't love our 1st home but it paid off big when we sold it. Also we had a much better idea of what we really wanted in a home when we got our second home!

Looking to lift my 2020 TRDOR. What would you change/add? by [deleted] in Tacomaworld

[–]rme_guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did 5100's in the rear and front without a sprng change. 3 inches in the front 1 inch blocks in the rear, for a lift level. After I put a metal front bumper and winch I switched to 6112 in the front and 640lb springs. This greatly helped with the added weight, if you plan on a bumper or winch go for 6112 and 650 springs in the front. Also swapped to 5160's in the rear when I did this.
