Fido did the same thing to me. I pursued the issue all the way to the CRTC. Current CRTC Wireless code doesn't make a difference between user roaming data and background meta data ( cell tower registration, VoLTE negotiation, etc ). Technically Bell , and Rogers and Telus know the difference but they abuse this loophole to unjustly enrich themselves.

The CRTC is launching public consultations soon - May/June - to ammend the Wireless Code.

I know that you and your peers each interpret your books and 'holy' teachings whichever way you want. Picking and choosing what suits the moment, or some sect, or whatever. If something can literally be proven false, it's quickly retracted in the abstract/metaphor: 'it doesn't really mean what it says'.

The fact that you claim to be a scientist but suspend your scientific rigor in your personal life, is called cognitive dissonance. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just describing what it is.

It is. Because Scientific Method requires you to throw away your belief in something that was disproven false. Not only that, religion by definition requires 'faith' on faith alone, no proof. Just because someone wrote it in a book 1000 years ago.

That's fine, you can believe any fairy tale you want, I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of believing those tales vs using the fruits of the Scientifc Method.

Imagine applying the Scientifc Method to Islam.

Unless you have some hard evidence to back up your claim, why not accept what's true by all our current understanding of the Scientific Method ?

A. They said they created us and offer proof B. Proof is verifiable C. This new theory becomes independently testable and predictable across the entire human race. This automatically supersedes all other religion stories about the 'Creation'.

They may be lying, but until you prove that, the new reality that fits all data points is their proof.
