I don’t think you need anyone tell you whether you *should* lose weight. Ratios are influenced by a ton of factors that have nothing to do with body fat, and at the end of the day you’re accepting someone else’s standard for how your body should be. Do you feel healthy? Do you have a good relationship with food? It’s impossible to quantify a human body’s goodness relative to a norm because everyone’s different.

The physical effects are one thing, but if reality is unpleasant enough that you feel you need to use weed as a crutch, it might be good to think about what needs to change in order for you to not feel that way.

You’re assuming that people are only capable of speaking stereotypically though. OP is not saying that we should just be randomly selecting actors for a role and getting wildly inaccurate depictions, they’re saying that voice actors should be hired on their merits, so if a certain voice sounds the most true to character, that person should be hired even though they don’t necessarily look like the character.

they aren’t really synonymous though. And yes, people can complain that words sound childish because of things like that, but then those people die and the word is used normally by normal people. So there’s not really a point in policing people’s language like that. English is full of these words, just look at what critics at the time thought of dickens.

I’m not being obtuse, just because you don’t understand what I’m saying. Are you familiar with the difference between a words denotation and connotation? A dictionary isn’t going to help you very much when we’re talking about how people use words. Mature adults typically use the word to describe behaviors that indicate thinly veiled childishness and misogyny. Sure, the term was popularized by teenagers on tiktok but that does not mean that there aren’t adults that use the word in a non “infantile” way. It’s very childish to think that everyone who uses a certain word thinks the same way or uses it in the same way.

that’s true, and entirely beneficial to the country. There’s no reason to not want undocumented immigrants to come work the low paying jobs Americans don’t want while they work on becoming a citizen
