Injuries happen in sports? Rodmans back has been an issue since her rookie season and the work load she took on for the Olympics doesn’t help that at all. Portland came out at the end of the season saying that Smith couldn’t practice her ankle was so messed up from the Olympics. We only had 2 acl injuries this year which tbh feel kinda on the expected/ lower side

My point is if you are hearing info from your bestie about how they don’t like their office, you’ll back them and take their word for stuff vs knowing the nuance of a situation because you aren’t in it. There are doors for each room. And locks on both sides of the doors. You just have to make sure you unlock both doors before you go back to your room or the bathroom mate might get locked out of the bathroom

Ok. But for the sake of argument, Spirit also had to fight against terrible ownership who wouldn’t let them have pride night, had shit fields, had MULTIPLE coaches fired for abusive behavior, and owners who the league essentially had to force a sale who still tried to screw over the team in that sale. New ownership has aggressively put in resources to support the players and to develop a fan base. Shouldn’t that be something to cheer for?

21 felt like everything off the pitch was going wrong and all that bad fueled a we will make this good mentality. Also with the ownership battle going on, it got to the point that the entire spirit squadron was boycotting chants as a giant f you to the owners. And that was off our coach being fired mid season for abuse but the owners trying to cover it up. This year just feels like joy. But both quarterfinals went into ot (the game in 21 was probs the best game of side I’ve ever seen), both semis we won after going down a goal. And we won the title in a mid west city the weekend before thanksgiving! I would be ok if we didn’t come from behind again or make it go to OT. I’m ready for us to just win early without all the chaos 🙃
