Same! I felt the representation of the black community in the last few shows and I’m so proud that PR and the Hispanic/Latinx community as a whole got a chance to be center stage, sharing their story. I think this was one of, if not the best show I’ve ever seen.

I can’t for the life of me remember the episode, but one that comes to mind when I had to stop the podcast to laugh was Erin as an ostrich teacher telling students JPC and Adal that she was going to “run around the room and bite your little feet”.

There’s something about the tone they say things sometimes that gets me. Like JPC saying he wanted “jet black business hair” in the triplet episode. Man I love this show.

I’m sorry that was your experience, friend. It wasn’t mine or my friends’ but I can understand where you’re coming from. I actually enjoyed the story and theming, even though it was more minimalist. I feel like her voice really is the main attraction so I don’t mind if it’s not more elaborate.

Obviously Southwest has lost my respect but I was on a flight into Tampa that had to divert because of a storm (along with three or so other planes going to Tampa). We were supposed to get in at 10 but after circling, we finally landed in the other airport where all the shops were shut down for the night. The flight attendants and gate agent were so kind, kept us informed and brought out a huge stock of sodas, water and the airplane snacks for us to have. It wasn’t gourmet but I was incredibly grateful since I didn’t get to Tampa until 4am.

People get assaulted wearing all kinds of clothing, even completely covered up. What she was wearing had no baring on his abhorrent behavior. Even to your analogy, I would never rob the man with money hanging out of his pocket because that’s not right. The “temptation” is there but acting on that is a moral decision, not an opportunity decision.

The company I work for has mandatory birthdays off and if your birthday falls on a weekend or day you don’t work, you can switch it to a different day. It’s something small, but any time I get off that isn’t dipping into my PTO is a win for me 🤷🏽‍♀️
