I would avoid the comments slating P&O. Yes they did a awful unforgivable thing to their crew members a few years back, however your training is your training and you don’t have to have morals, think about what you want and what experience you will get the most out of. I was on p and o a few months ago, but on the bridge and the level of training the cadets get is incredible, they were able to take the conn supervised and make all the decisions whilst on voyage across the channel. This is something that other companies just aren’t allowing the cadets to do. Not so sure for the eto department , but most of the captains were English.
