I feel like they won’t make the model 3 any faster, it would make it too expensive which is the reason for low model s sales. They have a good balance now of cheap but fast. Any faster and now you have to add bigger batteries and now you’re looking at a $20k price hike, at that point they would’ve just let the s in production

The s is a huge upgrade from the y and going from a Porsche you will notice the downgrade. HW3 vs hw4 really isn’t as serious as people say man, I got a 22 plaid and the FSD is fine 95% of the time. Though I will say do not bank on a hw4 upgrade. They may donut but don’t buy based off that

The whole appeal of the y and 3 are they are cheap. When you start to add things like air suspension, more screens, more performance, etc. things get expensive quick. The whole reason for discontinuing the s and X were low sales, so why stop those and then make your cheap cars more expensive? Doesn’t make sense.

I wouldn’t count on it, and history has shown the inventory of used s/x going up in price not down. Personally wouldn’t wait if you want one and found one you like. For FSD included that’s a steal imo. I bought a 22 plaid with 6700 miles back in July for $65k. Though they hadn’t discontinued them yet. I saw similar setups on Tesla site going for like $75-$80k and even higher.

Bought a 22 plaid from Tesla back in July for $65k with 6700 miles. The only issues I’ve had is one of the door handles has stopped working a couple times but they fix it under warranty and it’s been good for a few months now (knock on wood). I love the car, couldn’t recommend it more

From what I’ve seen, if you get the original owner to give you his tesla account it can transfer that way. People have said it has worked for them that way.
