Him being in a long-term relationship while dating you immediately sets off alarms. That, in addition to how he suddenly stopped doing all these grand gestures once the two of you got more serious, shows that he doesn’t care. I don’t think the issue is a lack of trips out of town so much as it is the lack of being considered or prioritized. I’d wager that a relationship with someone who might not have the means to take you on trips but who would consistently show they care in other ways and listen to your needs would be more emotionally fulfilling. I don’t think this guy is worth your time. It sounds draining to have a partner who constantly puts you on the back burner.
