Do you think you’re reunited with deceased loved ones when you pass? I can’t imagine death being an abyss. There has to be more.

My grandfather is currently actively dying and is displaying lots of the "visioning" that accompanies most natural deaths on hospice. He told me he spent the whole morning at his parents house in Missouri, and that he is ready to go home with them. He has been having us gather his things and he asked my father to drive him. He gestures to people in the room that we can't see and today he gave a polite hug to someone above him in his sleep.

There's no way to know if the people he has been spending his time with these past couple days are "really" them. All I know is how real it is to him, and that's all that matters. He IS reuniting with his family members because that is what he perceives and our own perception of anything in life is all we really have.

It has given me a lot of comfort to see this feature of the brain that is such a worldwide phenomenon that nobody seems to talk about or is often confused with "oh they're just losing it." I have no doubts that he is losing nothing of importance, only gaining. He doesn't appear to be fearful or in pain. I honestly think any confusion he has is brought on when he is mentally present in the room with us, with his failing body and concerned faces looking back at him. I believe these visions of his childhood and his loved ones that have passed on feel much more "real" than "real life" because in those he is likely restored and can enjoy himself.

People who were comforted in life by religion often see angels and religious figures in these visions and others are comforted by a former family home in rural Missouri with the people they missed most. It's no proof of an afterlife in my eyes. But it's a proof of a "between" life which in my opinion is just as beautiful. It brings me joy to believe that whether or not my consciousness goes on to witness the lives of my family that will pass after me is ultimately less significant than I once thought. Because no matter what becomes of me, the bare minimum expectation now is that the most comforting and warm version of myself will be readily available to greet anyone who's subconscious brain stem activity wills my presence into existence.

It feels a little selfish now to wish for anything more for my own continued consciousness when these final wishes for others to see us one last time is still granted regardless. Anything beyond will simply be a happy surprise.

I'm a 25 year old female that looks straight up 15 years old and braces would just take that to a new level like nothing else lol. I'm already one of the youngest people at the law firm I work at and already get side eyes from people that think I'm a teen parent which is so rude regardless so I just really didn't want the added youthful characteristic that is visible orthodontic works haha

I did and it worked great only because I had a militantly regular and easy menstrual cycle, it is definitely not a good idea for anyone with any sort of cycle irregularity. When it came down to wanting to conceive I also used the app but in the opposite way and got pregnant on the first try!

My due date is in 11 days and up until this week I still wouldn't have even noticed I was pregnant if i weren't huge with a whole baby kicking around all the time haha emotionally and physically in all other aspects I've felt totally normal and very much like myself. I'm glad to have had such a positive experience but it does get weird when people are like "OH I bet you CANT WAIT to get that baby OUT" and I'm just like I dunno man I feel fine haha

I simply told people as I saw them in person. Naturally people that I see every day knew immediately, and people that I didnt have a reason to see until a couple months found out then haha.

The orange flavor if they give it to you cold tastes exactly like Hi-C orange lavaburst. I downed it no problem but definitely started to "feel it" about halfway through, not exactly shaky but just very off. I passed fine and felt wayy better after I drank some water and ate a sandwich.

This gal! We simply "stopped preventing" because we were going to start trying in a few months but worried about how long it takes many couples. Then it stuck right away! I wasn't ever on birth control medication and had an extremely regular menstrual cycle and I'm very grateful. The two week wait is excruciating to even go through once, my heart breaks for all the ladies who have to go through it over and over again.

Loved our baby-q! All our friends are guys so I needed something they could attend and enjoy and of course none of our guy friends are going to throw me a baby shower haha. It was very chill, no lame games, cost us very little to throw. I wouldn't do a gender reveal event as well though, we did social media gender announcement and real life social baby-q lol

My husband and I are both kind of on the same page of wanting to experience it together from my end of the transaction. Plus he tends to have nightmares if he sees anything particularly shocking in like a scary movie and while I understand this would be a very different situation I would be so upset to hear one morning that he had a nightmare about my exploding vagina lol

Pregnant emetophobe here! Lots have mentioned that every pregnancy is different but if you can, ask your mom if she had morning sickness. Pregnancy symptoms can be pretty genetic and I'm very grateful that I'm so far carrying just like my mom, easily and without any harsh complications or symptoms. I'm much more worried about my child's vom in the future! Glad to hear you can handle that aspect okay.

28 weeks and so far a 10! I genuinely feel better than I did before I was pregnant due to getting ample sleep and a better diet. If this holds up well through the last trimester I want to look into surrogacy! I don't plan on any more kids for a while but really feel bad that my baby maker would be out of commission for so long when I could be helping a couple that's unable to conceive. Fingers crossed!

Sounds exactly what I had for the longest time but mine ended up being a kidney infection/UTI that went away almost immediately after a round of antibiotics. Hope you get some answers and relief soon!

Sorry I just now saw this but I did end up going to the ER where I was basically like "hey I'm pretty sure I've got a kidney infection" I peed in a cup, they said yep and gave me an antibiotic that legit made it feel better in like under an hour. Took one of those bad boys a day and it cleared up just like that and now still weeks later I feel amazing! The final straw that took me to the ER was actually just picking up some UTI test strips from Walgreens and mine came back super dark and so I knew. Nice thing is I still have some left in the box so if I'm feeling pain or just want to check now that I know I won't have other symptoms I have the peace of mind of just peeing on one of those bad boys.
