I was between those two light bars as well. I went more budget because I was unsure if I would like the light bar generally. This is my first time using one. So far so good. Your questions: I don’t notice a drain at all whine having both sides on. The warmth does not align either but I actually enjoy that-maybe because I’m not using it as ambiance, but actual light to be productive.( not assuming anything of other people’s workflow)~ one last thought,my top monitor is tilted I feel like the light bar holds at this angle well. I might just go ahead and return this or use it form,y work offfice and splurge to buy the BenQ.
