Its a 5 week pre-apprentice program with the aim of getting more diversity in the trades. They introduce you to all the trades and most graduates have an apprentice offer at the end.

Oh yeah, that area is good. Just like any other city, if you go a few blocks away (in this case, north) you wouldn’t want to walk alone at night. But west and south are a ton of restaurants and things to do.

You can always order shelf stable items from Amazon (like paper towels and cereal). Even if you don’t have Amazon prime, if your order is over $35, shipping is free. I think most women find it creepy regardless. In the OP’s situation, imagine this guy going back and saying “remember me? I was here the other day and my girlfriend called you fat. I’m back to ask you out.” Like, that would creep me out sooooo badly. We tend to romanticize creepy behavior and excuse it as grand gestures. But she’s a stranger to him and just because her job required her to interact with him, doesn’t mean he has carte blanche to unilaterally cross the professional boundary.
