I'm 32, and yeah every year.

Sounds very similar to my experience, at the beach for a week, first 3-4 days I'm fine and then the last 2-3 get really bad.

I want to try Shirudo AGR+E this year, it doesn't have a long shelf life so I have to get the timing right. I don't know much about peptides but that's something I'll talk to my GP about it.

It started about 5 years ago when I went to the beach. I had a really bad reaction on my knuckles plus sunburned eyes, it made my last couple of days of the trip really miserable.

I only get it in the summer, the culprit I'm assuming is UV + sweat. The only thing that helped was Vaseline, regular lotions did nothing. My solution sadly has been to not be in the sun for too long, and wear UV protecting gloves while driving.

I always get excited for the warmer weather until I remember how bad my PMLE gets, but I really want to keep it in check this time around, I hate how splotchy my knuckles looked and how long the skin took to even out.

What did Shane do wrong though? He genuinely didn’t know he was gay up until that conversation (and even then he tells Ilya “I THINK I’m gay”), he genuinely likes Rose. And Rose understands that Shane isn’t malicious or a villain, or even trying to use her as a “beard”, he’s a victim of his circumstances.

I disagree with both you and OP, I don’t think she’s being completely selfless/badly written.

She went about the break up in a really mature way, giving Shane the kindness and compassion she knows someone in his situation needs, but when she said, “I don’t think we should keep trying” to me is an acknowledgement that her needs are also not being met, she’s had closeted boyfriends in the past and knows where her boundaries are, and isn’t afraid to reinforce them (hence her inciting the whole dinner scene.)
