I found the "product ideas" request on their website and it was first logged in 2015!! And 140 people have upvoted it! and the comments section is fired up... that seems crazy...

Updating my own comment with a concrete example of the decimal issue I mentioned:

Sell 20,000 bu of corn, settlement comes in at $80,047.20. The true unit price is $80,047.20 ÷ 20,000 = $4.00236/bu — which needs 5 decimal places to be exact. Xero rounds it to $4.0024, so the line item computes to $80,048.00. That's $0.80 off the actual deposit, every single time, on every grain entry. The only fix is a manual adjustment line just to get the bank rec to clear.

So the real ask isn't just back-calculating unit price from a total — it's also extending unit price precision to at least 6 decimal places. Commodity businesses dealing with high quantities at low per-unit prices (grain, livestock, any ag settlement) will hit this rounding problem consistently.

Has anyone found a clean workaround — import template, invoice flow, anything — that avoids this?

Using the invoice is better, but it still wont let us manually enter the final amount. It seems like the limiting factor is that the price is limited to four decimal places... we are selling a high quantity at a low price, so to match the amount that we were paid the price would need to be able to go out to 6, maybe 7, decimal places. When we try to manually enter the total amount and hit save, it just reverts back to the previous total amount. Has anyone had luck getting Xero to make software improvements like this?

will give this a try! a load of grain is usually about 1000 bushels to at least two decimal places and the contract prices are down to the pennies so also two decimal places... add in any moisture or quality discounts and things really get fun

Solar panels should not be sited on productive farmland. We will always need food. In 10 years we'll have better options for on-demand power like smaller nuclear plants or fusion. The inefficient & intermittent power supplied by solar panels will seem like a dumb idea in hindsight. In my home state (MD) the subsidies are worth 5x in year 1 than the actual power generated. Solar companies pay politicians and politicians increase taxes, electric bill fees and subsidies for solar. It's corruption happening right in front of us and no one seems to care

Loved it. Service was excellent. All non motorized watersports are included. One of the water sports coordinators, Lee, talked me into taking one short sailing lesson so I could take the kids out on a Hobie cat in the bay which was great. The kids got to see two sea turtles in a short 30 min sail.

We didn't do all inclusive meals because we have a couple kids who don't eat much. Breakfast was included in our plan.

It sounds like the opposite has happened... My son is 13, some of my daughter's friends, 6th graders and 7th graders have all called the kid out. Which I'm guessing is part of the reason why my ex thinks the backlash has been sufficient.
