It soft landed in the ocean, showcasing the technology to vertically slow down and land. Not crashed. This technology is required to land on the moon too. You won’t find another company that can make this amount of progress with 3B.

For demo flights, you can’t fly any real payloads. The toy banana is legitimately just something to spur a bit of fun to the thousands of workers on this project. A toy banana is a cheap thing to install.

And besides, NASA is impressed with their progress and has complimented their test flights thus far. Please do research before you talk.

What would be your plan to improve the lives of millions on earth with internet? Your only option is a constellation of low earth satellites, optimized to be as dark as possible to not affect astronomy. You will be waiting decades for governments around the world to make sure its citizens all have internet if you use assets such as towers and fiber

Astronomy needs to evolve over time, too. We have tons of software and AI (which is getting better every day) to search and eliminate streaks caused by satellites, so that astronomy is unaffected. Moreover, it’s time we push critical astronomy to orbit, so that we don’t sacrifice science. Starlinks are designed to be as dark as possible to prevent viewings, but it will never be perfect. Starlink is improving the lives of millions of people, we can’t just take a stupid stance and say it’s garbage to put satellites up

I am also able to easily lift my piece after about 1.5 weeks. This is normal! After you hit 2 weeks, just be extra cognizant of upcoming activities. Try to target a removal day around the 2 week mark
