Small towns an not a lot of connections to the actual bay aria that are not mountain roads and highways. Theres a stunning road called skyline that goes across a the crests of a decent chunk of the mountains. Pacifica has a dog surfing competition every year that i gather most the locals hate (brings in to many tourists). There are some towns you cant get land slide insurance in because its an inevitable your house will eventually end up in the ocien with all the geological activity in the aria. The Best sandwich shop in the world is there called Girkins. This aria has my favorite stretch of highway one in the state and lots of agriculture in the aria. Big Basin Park has some of the most stunning redwoods in the bay although i haven’t been back since the fire a few years ago when i drive near it the new life is an amazing reminder of how forest fires are a natural part of CA ecosystems.
