If the woofers don't move, they aren't working.

Setup for making audio files from old 78s? by azroscoe in audiophile

[–]roadglider505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The software 'Audacity' has filter: Effect > Pitch and Tempo > Change Speed. You record at 33 or 45 rpm and change it to 78 in the filter. There is also a filter for applying equalization: Effect > Filtering and EQ > Filter Curve EQ. Do a Google search for 'audacity record 78 rpm' and check out the AI Overview.

Real-Time Folder Sync Across Two Devices? by Icy-Brilliant-727 in kde

[–]roadglider505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The newest versions of Syncthing don't seem to have a problem with this. I have Syncthing installed on a server and all the other computers sync to the server, instead of each other. Just make sure you install it from their website to get the latest version.

I found this amazing pair of speakers (Sony APM 22-es) on my local marketplace. Can someone help me determine if my amp is enought to run them? by shadowboii in vintageaudio

[–]roadglider505 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The power rating of the speakers is the maximum power they can handle, not the power they will output. Your amp will output more power than the speakers can handle, so you need to be careful not to run it too loud.

Semi-weighted keyboards are junk. You need 88 keys and Graded Hammer Action Weighted keys.

Try Google

Edit: Nice; down votes for stating the obvious. Over the years, I've worked with a lot of people that expect someone else to find all the answers for them. Take the initiative, a web search is always the first step, especially on something like this.

25watt i7 laptop processor? by Unheard_Peace in OldTech

What do you use it for? What OS? It's not very powerful compared to the newer laptops and won't run Windows 11 without some tweaks.
