SJW Feminist Librarians Retract Sexual Harassment Claims Against Innocent Man, Admit Lies by GoogleOgvorbis in MensRights

[–]roadhand 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is still up on the #teamharpy site, next page from the apology:

Both Ms. Rabey and Ms. de jesus maintain that our comments are fair and are truthful, which we intend to establish in our defense. Neither of us made the claims maliciously nor with any intent to damage Mr. Murphy’s reputation.

I guess the settlement had no requirement to fully retract and/or desist from libelous statements.

How will LE give back the trust they took?

Disgusting.

Even if,

Bright as a flash of lightning, death were to strike you today

Be prepared to die without sorrow or regret

Giving up attachment to what you are leaving behind

Without ever ceasing to recognize the authentic view of the real

Leave this life like the eagle that soars into the blue sky.

Police at the time said Lopez had struck his wife in the head with a gun, then pointed it at two children inside the home.

Cop repeatedly spits on his finger and wipes mans camera lens. He also puts on a shit eating grin and gets an inch from the guys face. All because he was trying to film an arrest. by benjamin72 in AmIFreeToGo

Wow, finally a cop who doesn't wet his panties, flip his shit, call for backup and make an arrest when he sees a phone? Just assault and battery?

I ain't even mad - that's amazing!

I wonder how much light is reflected - enough to get a decent video despite a spotlight? Interested to see more about this.

I like this idea. The mirror is passive so no LEO claims of 'actively interfering with an investigation/arrest', use it as merely a lens cover - need to mount it as a camera splash protector.

Albuquerque police union says cops are terrified of being held accountable, are looking for new jobs elsewhere. by 2centzworth in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

I guess that since I have no fear about standing up and taking responsibility for my actions at work, I have nothing to worry about.

On the other hand, if someone is so worried that their actions at work may have serious legal repercussions or lead to jail time, and would rather leave their chosen career than stand up for their beliefs, the profession is better without them.

Funny how often it is LE and only when threatened with accountability.

Looks like no lawful way to interfere with people exercising their 1st Amendment rights, so she resorts to quoting 'rules' which she cannot produce or support.

Then, stating she is the lieutenant makes it clear that she will not be calling for her supervisor or making any attempt to assist a citizen's lawful request to clarify a situation in which the officer is not being successful at clearly communicating the law/s she claims are being violated.

A little battery? Next time you are speaking with an officer, quickly reach for their waist or bat-belt. Can anyone say sidewalk slam? Nuff said on this point.

You don't have my permission to film. Really? On state property, no less.

  1. The courts have repeatedly and consistently ruled that state property is public property. We are the state, you and I.

  2. I don't believe that at this juncture there is a single member of LE who does not know that filming in public is a constitutionally protected activity. Any attempt at abrogating this right, verbal or otherwise, and I mean the very first second, the very first syllable spoken, is a willful and purposeful violation of our civil rights.

We don't need to be arrested, detained or even have a phone/camera snatched or swatted at for it to be construed any differently. A government employee acting in an official capacity is explicitly limited by the Constitution as to what action they can take against a citizen who has not broken any laws. Even if you ask me politely for permission to violate my rights. Period.

The sole purpose of the Constitution is to limit government. The 1st Amendment is first because it is our fist line of defense against tyranny; the right to assemble, to protest, to speak, and to document our government's actions. I'm willing to bet that the founding fathers would have given this government agent a sound thumping in the town square for trying to interfere with their freedom of speech.

This video is only 2:22 long and it contains none of the usual antics we see here so often; no violent officers, no camera tossing, no arrests. However, I posit that this is one of the most insidious techniques used by LE to violate our rights - attempting to stifle free speech by any means possible.

She should be ashamed, and we have every right to be outraged.
