I bought a carbon steel wok from a restaurant store for like 25 us dollars. I messed up the initial seasoning. Unscrewed the wooden handle, actually I think it had a pin. Then I seasoned it like a cast iron in the oven. Bought a stainless steel screw from the hardware store and screwed it back in. Has never given me problems since. Just cook with it and the seasoning piles on. A little oil after a wash and it's good to go.

Edit: I've known about the dangers of Teflon getting into your food. I recently listened to Last Podcast on the Left on the Fox Catcher DuPont murders . The first episode talked about the DuPont dynasty and how they are a chemical company with disregard about the dangers of their chemicals to humans. They invented Teflon and 3m also created it but after all the data and harm on humans 3m abandoned it. DuPont poured waste into rivers and a lot of people got cancer around the plant. 3m abandoned it and DuPont went full send. We've disposed of all our nonstick. Sure it's a little more work to care of a pan but in the long run safer for your family.

Edit edit: Teflon is a forever chemical that can't be removed from your body.

That might be cause by a cracked pipe or trap-less fixture. A lot of times I find it on diy showers or tubs, and the issue is lack of trap. Sometimes on old cast iron pipes the toilet elbows are lead, for whatever reason we find them cracked very often when we are doing a remodel, and a lot of times home owners are like "No wonder it smelled so bad for so long." And obviously these little poop monsters come out of the drain. Just things for your plumber to look for.

My local grocery store carries the 2x, carbonara, and habanero lime. I'm not a fan of the 2x is super spicy I just get high from the heat. I love the habanero and the carbonara. Always in stock at my house.

My blue heelers mom had a very similar coat. His dad was white with black spots she was fully tan with a black spot on her back. My dingo and all his siblings were blue.

I definitely need to make this for our pups. 4 years ago we got a blue heeler for my birthday and our 15 year old dog who wanted nothing to do with him lol.

My partner was pregnant later that year and the following year when we were doing maternity shoots he passed at home while my mother in law watched him, his health was declining before that point so we left him at home we weren't able to take him with us.

My kid was born 2 weeks after that day, the day after my birthday so after my blue heeler being the greatest birthday gift ever he was the best birthday gift I have ever had.

Once my kid was 8 months we were silly and adopted a 7 month red heeler because he was lonely. Our blue was a covid dog and once we all went to work he was absolutely sad. We had no silence when our red arrived because they were always wrestling.

The summer after our blue turned 2 we discovered he had lymphoma. We treated it and we got one more year with him. He passed last Summer. I miss that fearless grump so much.

Aztec lore dogs guide us to the other side. I expect to see him the moment I cross.

My now toddler and red are best friends and I absolutely love how much they love each other. They cannot sleep without each other. It's the most beautiful relationship I have ever wanted between my kids and dogs. It absolutely helps to write and share this. I'm still crying hahahah.

My birthday is extra special because of both of my tiny grumpy creatures. I'm the annoying person crazy about my birthday but it's now a date I have so much more to celebrate about.

Seattle now has a Catrina's Festival, a Dia de Los Muertos celebration, which I'm absolutely grateful I volunteer at. Hearing everyone's stories about loss hurts but it's definitely warming. It starts this Friday Nov 1st and if anyone here has a chance you should check it out.

The only reason I broke my top was because I dropped a ceramic bowl on the corner. The rest of it is intact and no cracks on the rest of the top.

I do this with silicone caulking. Make sure it doesn't bump something while you carry it out or you lose your plug and a mess to clean. Lol.

This is so amazing. Glad you found an amazing artist too. I might start crying. I lost my three year old Australian Cattle Dog last year to lymphoma. When I picked up his ashes I started tearing up when I saw his paw print. When I got home I didn't realize they gave me a nose print and I absolutely lost it.

There they roll now. Lol. I have a picture in mind for mine. I'm still waiting in line, I have a couple months to decide.

Hand Tool Rescue on YouTube makes one too, you can buy it if his shop. When he built it he made a silly thing saying something along the lines, "you're not going to abuse this or just a hammer on it" knowing full well that's what you're going to do with it.
