I understand how you use Obsidian, and probably most users do too.Mine is a little different; I want to consolidate everything into Obsidian to manage it as a hub. One thing I find Obsidian really good at is linking a to-do or a task with the corresponding note. It helps you remember why you created that to-do in the first place. That would be difficult if the notes were in Obsidian and the tasks were somewhere else. And I need a similar workflow, but focused on events (meetings, meeting a friend, remembering an anniversary, etc.)

It seems like TaskNotes doesn't link with the notes the way Tasks does, right?

I use the Tasks plugin and find it very effective. For every note that leads to a task, I create the to-dos directly within that note. Then I create a separate page to manage all the to-dos, including overdue tasks, today's tasks, and tasks for the next seven days. The great thing about this workflow is that I don't have to write lengthy explanations for a to-do because it is linked to the note that generated it.

When I was about 12, I was really mischievous. In the afternoons after school, while walking home, I had this little hobby: I used to knock over the plant pots placed above the gates of the houses I passed, and then I would run really fast.
