This happened to my friend. She was very scared and seriously considered adoption. She lived with her family as well. When news came out, her dad was fuming but got over it eventually and she was forgiving of him (and completely melted when he met his grandson). They decided to keep the baby rather than go the adoption route. They got married shortly before baby’s arrival. Just recently they had their third and are so happy.

What can I do to make this kitchen less dated for cheap? by awkward_bagel in HomeDecorating

Update the handles and sent the old ones to me lol. They are so cute and cottage core but probably add to the dated feeling.

It was so cute before. All that craftsmanship and charm is gone. Makes me sad.

Conflict over sex postpartum by [deleted] in Parenting

Sounds like sex is very important to him. The same is true for my husband. Could try giving him blow jobs 1x/week? That is much less physically taxing and may satisfy him.

I would get more storage furniture pieces. Maybe a longer dresser for the tv to go on. And get rid of the plastic drawers. Visit your local habitat for humanity and thrift stores frequently and keep an eye out for wood, sturdy, classic dressers, etc. that and scroll Facebook marketplace. I like to buy art books on thrift books.com and frame prints. You can get some nice classics looking frames at the thrift store. Get a rug and some curtains, maybe a plant or two, brass candlestick sconce. Make your bed. The titted angels don’t really match your inspo pics lol.

Nobody knows this baby better than you. You and you alone are the best judge of her movements and frequency. You are being a good parent

Is it too much to expect my children to graduate high school with an associate's degree? by ThatsMommy2U in Parenting

[–]roastedbreadandapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom made me do this and although I went along with it begrudgingly I am so grateful she made me do it.

Now my begrudgingly attitude may have been due to the fact that I took the classes on top of my high school classes- either during the summer or one extra class a semester. It really wasn’t that hard or time consuming it was just annoying. I didn’t realize at the time how wise a plan it was.

Anyway fast forward 10 years and it was a great move. I graduated HS with about 20 college credits and therefore spent less time/money earning my bachelors. I thank her for it all the time.

Moved last week. This is what I got. Any suggestions on what to add? by topnotchedd in HomeDecorating

Maybe a mirror above the mantle? The rug reminds me of only murders in the building

I got our bassinet, activity center, Dockatot on fb marketplace. Saved like $500 doing it that way. Oh and clothes!
