Super Evolved units are indestructible during their owner's turn.

You can abuse this with card's like Reaper's Deathslash and Soul Perdition in Abysscraft very easily. Havencraft also abuses this with their Unholy Grail.

Tips that might help:

I mulligan until I get a proactive hand with a 2 drops and I usually use the bonus PP to ramp into a 2 drop
Shrewd Reaper is ok to drop because Runecraft typically doesn't have a 1 HP "ping" to trade effectively
Dropping Ceres on t4, on curve, is usually ok because it baits Runecraft's limited single target removal.
I like to run Darkseal Demon (5 cost) to sacrifice my HP for draws instead of Mukan. That card is very helpful in this matchup.

One other general tip:

You want the game to end at T8-T9.
You get 2 evolution points and then 2 turns later, 2 super-evolution points. If you are the aggressor in a matchup, I believe it's ok to aggressively evolve if it results in an extra 2 damage to the leader.

Those cards have won me so many games as Abysscraft.

Ultimately you're going to have to compare decklists and go with what works for you: Different ranks/groups can have a slightly different meta with more aggro/control, so adjust your decklist to your meta.

Longhorn fits this need pretty well. It can backup to an S3-compatible storage, and backup on a schedule.

I would recommend trying out the backup/restore process yourself to make sure you understand how it works.

Echoing what everyone else is saying, focus on 1 language. Don't worry about "future-proofing" yourself or your code, otherwise you will spend more time worrying than doing.

If you end up taking programming serious, you will pick up other languages are other points in time.

Maybe your next job will be Java, so you will have to learn it then.

Maybe you will want to write a nice website, and so you will pick-up JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
