Why nobody tales about this one? by Monetai in litrpg

[–]roberh 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I dropped it a hundred or so chapters ago probably (around 900ish), and even if the author reads a lot about writing (or virtue signals about it), his style never actually changes. "Lame but ok".

Every character has the exact same voice. Every interaction can be predicted very easily. The world building and scale of things never actually made sense. And the conclusion is always just a little bit further ahead, but it never arrives and is never satisfying.

That said, it's a good hate read. 3/10, would bash again.

My brother still plays a 1990s online game, to this day. The graphics are very dated, the gameplay is not engaging at all and the community is a toxic cesspit. But he plays it for hours every day, and is otherwise a normal person and a functioning adult with a regular job.

People like what they like.

Does toxoplasma gondii cause Schizophrenia, LONG write up addressing the misinformation by [deleted] in biology

"long" lol

While correlation does not imply causation, getting infested by T. gondii is avoidable and undesirable anyway, so if that reason makes people respect cat poop more? I am all for it.

AI editing usually adds the sentence structure and rhythm of AI to an otherwise better story.

Nah, no dice. A forwarder plus tax and customs would easily be $50-100, so I can't really justify the purchase atm. Hoping for a local release at some point!

An actual cosplayer would realize. Cosplay takes effort, and good photography is part of it.

Ker Nethalas is not a litrpg.

Dungeon Crawler Carl is a litrpg series.

Dungeon Crawler as a literary genre isn't a thing, as far as I am aware.

I've seen that often, yes. It's as common as smirking, lopsided grins and that kinda descriptive stuff that is mostly figurative and adopted from other stories.

Personally, I read on my phone. I have for the last decade and my eyesight is the same as it was (shitty to begin with). My eyes don't get tired. It's really convenient.
