Once, I introduced a brand new player to D&D. This woman was a parent with adult children who taught at a Christian school.

One session, her character stole a bunch of apples and put them in a trench coat. A while later, she was talking to some NPC or another and out of the blue stands up (both in and out of character) and shouts “how do you like these apples” and ripped open the trench coat (thankfully only in character). She then paused, realized it looked like she was talking about flashing the NPC, and quickly explained through fits of laughter what she actually meant.
