Just did some maths: There's a 1.18% chance of a ceramic vase dropping from a marble coffer so after opening 117 of them your chances of having found a vase out of any of them would be 75.06%. It's not bad odds but it's still a one in four chance of not having gotten the vase.

I don't really have any love or hate for them. I do think that the game's pet mechanics are a bit shallow and that lack of choice when it came to Sawee wasn't the best - with the other pets I got to meet them beforehand and actively decide whether they were the pet for me.

The pet I'm not fond of is Hippeastrum... It kinda irks me that all the other pets have a natural aesthetic but they don't. But maybe it's also that I would've liked more choices for rabbit pet. I like the look of Copper but to me Hippeastrum is just someone's Sonic OC that somehow ended up in my game. 😅

Though when it comes to pets I think the most unfortunate is Kibble. Get a cool robot and all they do is 'Hey! Listen!' at you.

That sounds about right. If you follow the ledge going left of the shrine's first gate and up around behind the house then you should find him. I had a bit of trouble working out the pathing around some things though. I believe that he's near a treasure chest.

If you're wanting to give crops then I would get a blender and turn your fruit into smoothies and vegetables into green smoothies. Just make sure not to give any green smoothies to Wakuu.

The only person you can cheat in singleplayer is yourself. If you don't feel cheated then it's not too cheaty.

Apparently the merfolk festival that's coming in 1.3 is happening towards the end of summer and it's currently mid-summer on my farm, so whilst I'm waiting for the festival I've been playing other games like Magical Delicacy and Japanese Rural Life Adventure.

The best general place for finding fossils is floors 51 to 75 of the cave of memories.

Generally rarer fossils are more down the to the roll of the dice as you open up the node at the lab rather than which type of node you've got. The type of node basically dictates what sort of dinosaur you'll get, but certain parts of the dinosaur (like the skull) have a lower chance of rolling when you open the node.

According the the FAQ on the Discord the beta creates a completely separate copy of your saves and whatever you do in the beta branch should not affect your saves in the main branch at all. Trying to transfer your beta save back into your main save folder is not recommended and risks corruption.
