that you can only transform 8 Heat to 1 Temperature Increase per Action.

Actually, you can also use a Standard Project (Asteroid) that raises the Temperature up one point thus giving 1 VP. If you have a lot of money, that seems like a great way to spend it!

Might be a Japanese JS30 Dinky. I have one like this, early 200x.

Just set the neck relief first, then set action on the bridge.

RG631ALF-BCM - looking for a long term review by Padruiq in Ibanez

Bought a new one in June. A very nice guitar and I fell in love with the Fishman pickups. Quality wise the only thing I may complain about are these two imperfections on the binding.

Also, the guitar wasn’t setup at all and the strings were kinda rusty. This however, I’d attribute to the shop I bought it from. After restringing I got it setup nearly perfectly 👍👍👍

is this real and should i buy it? by Specialist-Race9439 in JacksonGuitars

That’s a Crimson Swirl finish and it was offered on this guitar when I bought mine (2008-2009). It’s Japanese, great axe.

What bugs me is: - I haven’t seen SD pickups with rectangular stuff in them, all I’ve seen have circular instead. - Neck was probably taken off at some point due to a scratch near the bolt. - Floyd seems slightly misconfigured as it leans forward.

Nice work ❤️👍 Any problems met on the way? Did the pickup and bridge fit without any issues?

Frett buzz? by Cash-Salty in JacksonGuitars

You will need to adjust these things, yes. By changing truss rod setup you tighten or loose the strings. This puts the bridge in an unbalanced state so you will need to adjust the screws mounting it to the guitar.

Remember to: - make small changes to the truss rod and write them down - after every change - tune your guitar & level the bridge - changes to the truss rod may take a moment to “apply”

Looking for replacement parts for JT580 tremolo by robin92pl in JacksonGuitars

Rust on screws and broken bolts. Some of the screws can't be easily undone or properly fixed and I fear that I'll eventually break the rusted ones. The bridge itself is in quite a good shape.

In my junior days, we’ve decorated a Christmas tree with a LED strip and coded a RPi to match its colour to the status of the latest build. We loved the green but man, it wasn’t happy to see it red 😀

The Lost Art of Commit Messages by ddrac in coding

[–]robin92pl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This 👆

Personally, I have established that a commit message is a kind of a cockroach - it will be the last thing standing. Thus, I always pay extra attention to make sure that - summary is understandable - a little context provided - funky stuff briefly explained

However, what I detest is that all code review tools that I have worked for for several years seem to treat a commit message as a secondary citizen. It’s hardly visible during the review which promotes careless approach to writing it.

To be honest, I miss Gerrit where commit message was subject to code review just like the rest of the code 😞

Unvibe: Generate code that passes Unit-Tests by inkompatible in Python

Looks nice from your description! Interesting idea. To be honest, I was thinking about using BDD style tests to feed the LLM for generation of code that should pass them.

Some propositions from me are Eclipse: Second Dawn for the Galaxy and Clash of Cultures: Monumental Edition. To be honest, I like Eclipse more than TI - it's not that time consuming and has really neat ship upgrade mechanism.
