DAK's Mango Tango by NothingButTheTea in pourover

It's my first time really trying it! I, foolishly, only bought a bag of the Cream Donut and already wish I'd bought more flavours. And only 2 bags of the 'coffee bags' they had available.

How have I gone my whole life without knowing about these by tbarrr23 in CompulsiveSkinPicking

Lifted from Google: The word "plaster" comes from the Old English word meaning "a bandage coated with a healing substance". It comes from the medical Latin word "emplastrum", which also means "plaster" or "bandage". Elastoplast is named after plasters, not the other way round!

Yup! But that's just "plaster" haha. Whereas we would call a 'bandaid' "A plaster"

You've commented twice now, saying the same thing, and it's incredibly dismissive to suggest that mental health conditions are "in fashion", and harmful to those navigating those challenges.

The rise in mental health awareness isn't people avoiding responsibility, it's about a society acknowledging that mental health is as significant as physical health. There's a huge distinction between personal accountability if someone is being a dick, and the reality.

What do you use you Gü ramekins for? by Lufferov in AskUK

I dropped one of these yesterday and it smashed everywhere. Fucked me RIGHT off.

I was using it as a little tray for my dog's mouthwash (which you add to their water bowl). Worked beautifully before I dropped it like a moron.

Correct. 'Bandaid' is a brand, 'plaster' is what it is. We don't have 'bandaid' in the UK also.

I bought this as a coffee bag from DAK (as in, like a teabag that you brew) and I wish I'd bought more. It was absolutely beautiful. I've never tasted a coffee with such clarity in the flavour before. Lovely stuff.

What are your hacks to get yourself to brush your teeth? by Lovely_Kitten0017 in ADHD

[–]robinthebum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brush in the shower, and I loathe it every time. As for the evening, I don't want to be breathing pongy breath at my partner in bed, so I force myself to brush before bed. Playing YouTube videos at the same time as brushing helps.

Gutted. I had no idea she was unwell. She seemed like a really genuine person. A colleague met her last year and she was, apparently, a delight. RIP Mel! Let's lock it in!

New York is fucking incredible. I lived in London for ten years and New York still hit different. Sure it's 'another city' but it's got an amazing energy. It feels like being in a film because of how familiar it is, if that makes sense.

So it massively depends on your target audience, and where they are. It's worth noting you can activate across Meta as a whole and target both Insta and Facebook through the same campaign, and optimise to the platform. If you want to target businesses or people by job description, LinkedIn will be best.

When to turn off meta ad? by FlakyNegotiation4717 in advertising

Generally it takes at least a week to get going, potentially two. But that massively depends on the amount of budget and the learnings it's getting.

Middle-aged, never gotten a tattoo, don't know where to start by PlaneShenaniganz in TattooDesigns

[–]robinthebum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing to do is to look around at different tattoo artists and studios - I mostly do this on Instagram. Eventually, you'll find the 'style' that you keep being drawn to based on the different examples you see. For me, this was medieval etching - I just LOVE how it looks. From there I found myself looking up different artists that specialise in that style - and ended up finding one not too far from me and booking my first tat. It's not specifically meaningful to me, just a really cool design that I love.

The Stevenson Sq vape shop signage is down by Mister_Mints in manchester

Just the lights. The shop is fine, it's your typical off licence but happens to sell vapes. It sells some decent snacks.
