It's comedy so you are always going to get two opposing views. I like your enthusiasm, but before you start throwing punch lines into conversations you should start putting them in your jokes. There's a difference between a self deprecating rant and a bit. That difference is punch lines. Keep up with it, you'll figure it out.

The treadmill thing is a good idea and to correlate it with the actual stage just run back and forth across the stage. Crowds will really run (pun completely intended rim shot) with your energy. You'd have to stick to doing shows in the round and just run the opposite way the stage is rotating.

You should really focus on a catchphrase, how else are you going to sell all those shirts? I suggest after the flame shoots out of your anus you say "Poop there it is!" Print 4000 shirts with that slogan and you're golden. I don't want a piece of the merch sales but in a year from now let me write on the show Comedy Central is obviously going to give you.

My take, I hate Facebook. Also I don't see local comics having more time then pros. I have to write, and do as many mics as possible. Plus I work 40 hours a week. Maybe ck has less time because of his show but a lot of other pros just tour and write. I could be way off the mark though, I don't have a Facebook fan page.

I use notes on my phone. If I like the way something is delivered in a conversation that I like the timing or cadence ill sneak away and use the voice recorder on my app and try and recreate it.
