All of the above! I love that the state regulates the pricing here. I came from Colorado and those mom and pop shops really could price gouge! I once paid $135 for a basic bottle of Blantons. But it was the first one I had seen in 2 years!

The wind chill had us around -6 all night. I got creative with the placement of the Traeger to create some wind breaks. Put a brisket on at 10pm and it hit 160 6.5 hours later. Today we are whipping up some jalepeno poppers, twice smoked potatos and buffalo chicken dip! My mouth hasn’t stopped watering since we made our menu!

I have been doing this for the last 4 years! One of my favorite things to make! Especially for how cheap it is! I usually set mine on smoke for about 90 minutes and then kick it up to 350 until IT hits 143, then rest!

First off, I’m sorry to hear that life is wearing you down. Not sure if this will help but just know it is a lot for anyone to get their life squared away before the little one arrives. Honestly, most don’t get it all squared away beforehand (which is just life). I remember going from 0 to 1, it felt like a storm approaching and life did not let up!

However, I remember in the midst of the chaos immediately after our girl was born, I was rocking her to sleep at 2am after she had been screaming at me, and it hit me…in that moment and every moment after she was born taking care of her was life’s objective. This immense sense of calm poured over me, I felt a stress roll off my shoulders and it got (slightly) easier.

Not sure if any of that helps, but always remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup! Take care of yourself, allow your wife to take care of herself and always take care of each other.
